Form — observable recurring structures. Force — invisible generative principles. Field — the ecology in which forces operate. Flow — temporal evolution. Domain frameworks (film analysis, organizational diagnosis, policy analysis, societal signature) are wrappers around this engine, and the engine is reversible: analysis reconstructs the architecture from the work; creation lets the work emerge from the architecture.

Three objects of analysis, never conflated: the artifact (the constructed work), the situation (the represented reality, analysed via MLAP), and the signature (the creator’s enduring generative logic).

Inquiry moves up the hierarchy; design moves down. The 22 architectures function as an alphabet or periodic table; societies are texts written in that language over history.

History as inherited grammar: enabling grammars expand possibility; constraining grammars trap. “History becomes a prison when inherited grammar is mistaken for universal grammar.” A society’s future is limited not by its past but by the flexibility of its inherited grammar.

The canonical quartet for worlds: Architecture (what can be built) — Grammar (how) — Narrative (why / what it means) — Pathways (how it changes over time).

A signature is the stable expression of a generative architecture through a characteristic grammar, realized in distinctive syntax and recurring vocabulary across a sustained body of practice. It is discovered retrospectively — one work may hint at it; ten reveal it — and can only be discovered, never assigned.
